The Persian sturgeon (''Acipenser persicus'') is a critically endangered species of sturgeon. ==Description== The Persian Sturgeon has an elongated, bulky body with a bluish tint.〔Kuliev, ZM & Ivanova, LA. Populations may also occur in tributaries and rivers inbound to the Caspian Sea.
